The slow food movement is tried to approach people to have a good, clean and fair food. They believe that the food we eat should taste good; that it should be produced in a clean way that does not harm the environment, animal welfare or our health; and that food producers should receive fair compensation for their work. The reason why they promote the slow food movement is that because of the today’s society is only looking forward the efficiency and which cause the quick and extensive growth of the fast food industry but the traditional breeding livestock can not satisfy the need of the fast food industry. Therefore, they are using more chemical stuff to breeding more stuff to raise more live stocks. But do you know those livestock that we eat which come from unnatural breeding process will endanger people’s health in the end. Therefore, there are so many people try to follow the slow food movement.
In my point of view, I strongly agree with the slow food movement because that is much healthy and natural way for human to eat and live. Because of the quick growth of the fast food industry, The people who raising the livestock will use more chemical material such as growth hormone or antibiosis to breeding it. And think about it, if people feed the chicken with it and in the end. we are the one who eats those chicken then we would eat these chemical material after all. Therefore, if any people who do not support or insist to keep eating the fast food. They should look at the slow food movement website. And they will find out how serious consequences it could be. Therefore, for me, I will try my best to support the slow food movement like do not eat fast food or eat more organic food in order to support the movement and maybe one day we can change the world.

food = art
Can you ever image that a chief’s dishes can be exhibit in five-yearly Documenta art show in Kassel, Germany – one of the biggest events in the world of contemporary art. Chief AdriĆ is one of the most famous chief in New York. Recently, he open a new restaurant call El Bulli. And it only open for the six month a year, it close at six winter months. In this six month, AdriĆ bring his fellow chiefs to their laboratory in Barcelona try to study the essence of the food and research more the possibility of the new food combination in experimental ways. That was a great adventure in food filed and which bring the food to new frontier.
In my point of view that I believe the food is fulfill with aesthetic feeling and it is indeed involved with the sense of beauty because like those French cuisine, the decoration of the dish just like a pieces of art work. And the in usual, the complete French dinner usually takes like 3 hours to slowly finish the food. While the client is enjoying the dinner, they also admire the aesthetic decoration of the dishes. In the other hand, some people are saying that the food can not regard as kind of art because they are saying that most of people thinks the taste of the food is depends on the cost level. In my point of view, I strongly disagree it. From the example that I previously mentioned I believe that the food already become the part of the modern art, nobody can deny it. And more and more chief are devoted themselves to find out what is the best for their clients and what can taste amazing. Moreover, the food is not only involves with the taste but also inherit a country’s tradition and culture. Nowadays, food means more than we thought before. Therefore, I think the cooking is already the essential part of our society.
